Dr. Mira Dhutia

Dr. Mira Dhutia’s philosophy is “the art of healing begins with self awareness of the changes needed in one’s lifestyle and her role is to teach the individual the steps needed to reach optimal health.” It is through this fundamental belief that she diagnoses and creates individualized treatment plans designed with the whole person in mind.

With expertise in neuromuscular re-education, sports medicine, core stability training and functional biomechanics, Dr. Dhutia is a board certified chiropractic physician.

She is the founder and Clinic Director of Spinal Rehab and Wellness Center, serving the clientele of the Naperville and Aurora area.

She has more than a decade of experience and a proven track record in successfully treating low back and neck pain, pinched nerves and headaches, diabetic neuropathy, whiplash injuries, as well as treating work-related and sports-related injuries. Dr. Dhutia specializes in Diversified Manipulation technique, Flexion and Distraction technique, rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system and ergonomic evaluation. Additionally, she is certified in disc decompression therapy for herniated and bulging discs and certified in fitting custom-made orthotics for patients with foot problems.

As a native of DuPage County, Dr. Dhutia is active in the local community, contributing as a guest educator and supporting local charity events. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the South Asian Chiropractic Association, BNI and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Matthew Petry

Dr. Matthew Petry is a board-certified Chiropractic Physician who has been practicing for over 7 years. Before practicing at Spinal Rehab & Wellness Center, Dr. Petry worked in a multidisciplinary environment where he co-managed patients with Medical Physicians as well as Physical Therapists. Because of this multi-faceted approach to physical medicine, he was able to learn advanced physical rehabilitative techniques as well as a team approach to returning patients towards living a healthy lifestyle. His background includes physical rehabilitation but his passion is sports medicine.

Dr. Matthew Petry has been part of the medical staff for the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) as well as the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).

He also lectures throughout northern Illinois to Multiple Sclerosis support groups about advances in MS rehabilitation and is a paid speaker for the Greater Chicago Multiple Sclerosis Society. His techniques and protocols have allowed for several MS patients to increase their daily functional ability and even walk without canes or rely on their wheelchair. Due to mandates in insurance law for 2007, Dr. Petry is also able to provide preventative MS therapy for his patients.

Dr. Matthew Petry is a certified personal trainer with national certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He currently works part-time as a personal trainer with a physical therapy emphasis for Lifetime Fitness in Romeoville, IL. He also has several private clients who he works with on a weekly basis.
